SILICONE-BASED O-RING GREASE – MOLYKOTE 55 O-RING GREASE


Molykote 55 O-Ring Grease is a silicone-based lubricating grease thickened with lithium soap and designed for O-rings, seals, and rubber/metal interfaces. It provides excellent performance over a wide temperature range and enhances sealing by slightly swelling elastomer materials.

Applications:

  • O-rings, seals, and gaskets

  • Pneumatic systems, valves, and regulators

  • Automotive, aerospace, and industrial sealing systems

  • Low- and high-temperature rubber/metal contact areas

  • Operating temperature range: –65 °C to +175 °C

  • Shelf life: 60 months (in sealed container, cool and dry storage)

Application Notes:

  • Clean and dry surfaces before application.

  • Apply thinly and evenly using a brush or spatula.

  • Do not mix with other lubricants.

  • Conduct a compatibility test when applied to sensitive plastics or rubbers.
